Serving Opportunity

Bethel is partnering with Age Concern to host some talks for the older people in our community as part of the Keep Well, Keep Warm, Keep Safe winter campaign.

We need volunteers who can spare us an hour or two on a few Wednesday mornings to serve tea and coffee and to chat with these folks as they arrive. The plan is to serve tea and coffee from 11am, with the talk to take place from around 11.30 am. This will mean that it will be finished in time for those that will be staying on to attend the Lunch Club.

The dates agreed so far are:

January 30th                    Home Safety

February 13th                  Healthy Eating

We are also aiming to arrange some more dates for other talks.
