Warning re Japanese Fundraising

We have had several reports recently from various areas of Cardiff where young people (often around 14 years of age) are knocking doors, seeking to raise money using the name of Bethel Baptist Church in Whitchurch. They are claiming to be raising money for the Japanese Tsunami, often through sponsored fun runs that they claim are organised by ourselves, seeking the money up front.

We want to make it clear that WE ARE NOT INVOLVED IN THIS IN ANY WAY.

Please be careful - THIS IS A SCAM.

If anyone calls claiming to be raising money in this way, please inform your local police - they are aware of this scam and are investigating.
