They're good at what they do but they ain't my cup of tea.
I like to see a stage with some musical instruments on it.
Now if POD were to tour the UK...

Who are POD, Paul? Joseph will become a teenager this year so any good ideas from anyone re: Christian music would be of interest to us. At the moment he is listening to Linkin Park, Nickleback and Evanescence. He also likes U2 and Stereophonics. The only Christian music we have is The Tribe (which he likes) and Graham Hendrick (yuk!). Sue

H is too close to K on my keyboard. I meant to say Graham Kendrick, not Hendrick.

www.listening2.co.uk
is also a good website. They produce sampler cds of Christian music inc. Hip-Hop, Hard-Rock & Modern Worship.

Payable On Death (POD) are a metal/rap band from the 'states. Like all the best christian bands they record on a secular label and get music in the charts to boot. Discuss.

Thanks, Rachel and Paul. I thought pods were something you found on the allotment! Looking forward to exploring the websites. Hip Hop Hop! Sue

http://www.britlinks.co.uk/
has excellent information on all British and Irish Christian bands ever.
We (the Rocks) have booked our Greenbelt tickets if anyone wants to join us in Cheltenham over August BH - camping or otherwise. So far, bands include Delirious, speakers include Steve Chalke.

Bought good "best of" worship triple cd, great value with all the modern worship songs, not too mumsy + stocked in asda/tesco which is got to be a good reason for buying it rather than being limited to the olive branch for christian music. Also Best of Rebecca St James is fab if you like having a good sing in the car like me!
