Introducing 'In Translation'...

'In Translation' is an acoustic duo made up of Michael Read and Ian Thomson. Mike lives in Tooting where he is currently on placement as a second year physiotherapy student. Ian has just finished an English Lit degree in Cardiff. They first started playing together in 2001 as two of five members of the band Kyrie. Their acoustic sound blends a love for mellow guitar riffs and vocal harmonies with thinky and emotive lyrics. Some influences include Shawn MacDonald, Kyrie and growing up as Third Culture kids in Thailand, Malaysia and India.
