Happy Birthday

"Happy Birthday To You!!" rang out during our morning service on Sunday 10th September as the church wished our Senior Minister, Simeon Baker a happy 40th birthday which took place a couple of days later.

A large cake was produced with a suitable number of candles on, and they took a long time to blow out - though that may be because some of them were the type that keep relighting. Simeon had already had a surprise that morning, when he opened his office door to find that someone had been in there and decorated it with balloons and banners to mark the occasion.
