Guitar Lessons for beginners

Motivating musicians...
Ever felt like you'd like to learn an instrument? Maybe you got around to buying yourself a nice guitar, downloading an internet tutorial and contorting your fingers into a G-shape. But so many of us stop there. After all, there are only so many hours in the day...and you can't do everything...and actually, it's quite hard to teach yourself an instrument...
But maybe you're tired of feeling like that. Maybe you'd like someone to play with and learn from. That's what I'd like to offer. I don't teach Grade 5 theory, and I won't be entering you for any RCM exams, but I have played the guitar for seven years, played with a couple of grass-roots bands, and picked up an idea of what it means to play. What I offer is a learn-as-you play course that teaches you to play one new song each week. In learning the songs, you'll pick up all you need to know about strumming, chords, picking, why Reggae sounds like it does, and what an arpeggio pattern is.
The course:
Duration: c. 9 weeks, depending on how long each lesson is
Lessons: half an hour or one hour weekly
Price: 1st hour FREE, £3 per half hour thereafter (promotional
offer until Christmas 2006 only)
Commitment: on a week-by-week basis...you don't need to come for
all 9 weeks
