Older People Are Important

We have a lot of older people, both attending our church, and also in our local community.

In fact, the last Census in 2001 showed that 22% of people in our community are aged 65+, and 20% of households in Whitchurch consist of single pensioners, and another 12% of two or more pensioners.

We aim to provide for these people, and attached are links to articles about the Lunch Club that we run every week in partnership with WRVS, and also some of the socials that the church runs for this age group.

We are also looking into other services that can be provided to support the older people in our community, in response to the Community Audit that we completed last year.
