Church Life

A Celtic Model for a Community Church

Celtic Cross

There are many parallels between the Church in the early fifth century and the Church today. Faced with difficult times, rather than look inwards wither away, a whole new breed of Christians emerged . They developed a model based around the idea of a Community Church that was spectacularly successful in reaching people who didn't know anything about Christianity.

As Bethel starts to move towards establishing a Community Church, their model is still applicable today. As we move into the Third Millennium, there is a lot we can learn from these First Millennium Christians.
