About Christianity

We believe that a Christian is simply someone who follows Jesus Christ. It doesn’t need to be any more or less complicated than that. When we read about the life of Jesus in the Bible we see that he simply called people to follow Him and invited them to have a relationship with God. We believe that truly following Jesus is life changing. If Jesus is who He said He was then His death on the Cross has enormous significance. It is the place where we find peace and reconciliation with God as we confess our shortcomings and sins, knowing that Jesus died to make forgiveness possible. The resurrection of Jesus assures that Jesus is not a dead prophet but the living Son of God who brings us into a relationship with God the Father.

Learning about Jesus and following Him is not always easy. It is a journey of faith that has ups and downs. Yet we believe it is the most satisfying journey anyone can make in their life because ultimately it leads to God.

Jesus said: “I am the way the truth and the life,
no one comes to the Father except through me.”  John 14:6
