About Church Members

The members are an important part of any Baptist church and play an active role in the decision making of church life. Every two months a church members meeting gathers to pray, worship and work through the issues that affect the life and direction of the church.

Anyone who shares our statement of faith may apply to become a member of the church. Whilst a person will normally have been baptised first, we welcome those who wish to become members from other Christian traditions. You do not have to be a church member to attend or belong to Bethel Baptist Church. If however you feel that you have found a spiritual home within at Bethel and would like to make that commitment clear we encourage you to seek membership and play an active role in the life of the church.
