A belated change to this page!

Thankyou all so much for your prayerful, monetary and communicative support for my year in Malawi. Receiving letters, occasional Bethel bulletins [thanks Tony and Jan, a really thoughtful way of keeping me in touch], emails, texts etc really helped to keep continuity in my life when a lot was changing. I absolutely loved Malawi, and my long-term plans are to be back there by 2010 for a longer visit, maybe for good.

I am currently in Leicestershire living with my mother and father and youngest brother while learning to build guitars - another string to my bow and a passion for making that can only have come from the great Maker and Remaker. It's been great to catch up with some of you at morning service, Revive or informally when I've visited Cardiff, and I'll be down visiting again quite soon :)

Meanwhile, if any of you are passing through the East Midlands, do drop me a line and pop in for coffee, a meal or an afternoon's excursion to Bradgate Park or the National Forest (maybe when the weather is a bit warmer for the latter).

with love, in Him

Ian
