Tools with a
Mission enables people to earn a living and to support themselves.
In many countries of the world people have few skills, little education and no means of earning a living. A switch from aid dependency to self sufficiency is impossible without help.
TWAM started twenty three years ago, and has since then given this help by collecting and refurbishing tools and equipment no longer required in the and sending them overseas.
Do you have any tools, no longer used, to contribute? There is a list of the tools needed on the Missions board in the lounge. Don Cheyne and Geoff Rushton also have copies and it is on the website – details below. Please check this list before bringing an item.
Included in the list are carpentry, engineering (including vehicles), cycle, building, horticultural, dressmaking and leather working tools.
Sunday 15th June is Collection Day
