YouTube Live!

On Sundays  we will be having an in-person service at church and also  live streaming messages via YouTube live at 10:30am  and 6 pm.  You will be able to view these without a YouTube account, and they will also be available on Smart TVs/Fire stick etc. for those without tablets/laptops. The livestream links are available on the website. If anyone is struggling to access the livestreams, please let us know.

Carols by STREET-Light

(4pm, Sunday 19th December)

Join us at 4pm on the Sunday before Christmas for our Carol service… with a twist! Rather than the usual candlelight… we’ll be taking the songs of Christmas to the streets! Join us in the lane next to the church, for a warm glass of non-alcoholic mulled wine and a warm mince pie to join in all the festive favourites, and enter into the wonder of that first Christmas night!
Some limited seating will be available for any who need to sit down.

Christmas Day

(10.30am, Sunday 25th December)

Grab a favourite pressie, and rock up to celebrate the joy of Christmas morning with your Church Family! We’d love to see you for a shorter, family-friendly service of celebration!


Boxing Day

(Sunday 26th December)

Please note that there will be no in-person services on this Sunday, but we will be sharing a message on our usual youtube channel at 10:30am. Thanks everyone!


Mince Pies Needed!

Church is Open!!

The church is fully open. Booking is no longer needed at all. We ask that you still respect social distancing  and follow all guidance given. Face masks are still required to be worn.

Bethel Kids is taking place for all primary school children in years 1-6 and the Creche is available for babies and toddlers. Teens plans to resume in the new Year.  Following the service we will be serving tea & coffee in the lounge.

We really look forward to seeing you!


Volunteers Needed

We are looking for a team of people that may be able from time to time be available to do some cleaning in the Whitchurch Centre or Church. This need has arisen as the cleaning requirements have been increased because of Covid.  If you think you might be able to help, please contact Lorraine in the office.  Many thanks.


Children and Youth

Bethel Tots  (Babies – Reception) Sunday morning, 10:30 – end of service . This will take place in the church lounge and will give the little ones a time of fun, play and singing together. Parents are encouraged to sit in with the younger ones.

Bethel Kids  This week we will be finishing our recordings for the nativity, and next week will be our premiere during the morning service. All the kids have worked so hard, remembering lines, or becoming mini thespians. We hope you will enjoy our show.

Bethel Teens and  Bethel Youth   This Tuesday sees our last gathering for 2021.  We will be going Ice Skating at the Winter Wonderland in Cardiff. All parents should be aware of the details, however if you have managed to misplace them, please get in contact with Tim.


Thank you all for being involved in, or praying for the groups during this turbulent time, the response from the church and from the teens and youth has been well and truly epic. And I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching and growing alongside them all.


Looking forward to the new year and all God has planned for us.



Christmas Postbox

Just to let you know that there will be no postbox this year, but if you would like to send a Christmas card to all of your friends at Bethel. please do send these to the church address or post it through Lorraine’s office door. We would love to display these in the lounge.  If anyone would like to make a donation in lieu of the money that would have been spent on buying cards, we will donate this to this year’s designated Christmas charity.  Many thanks.


If you have a church set of keys and no longer need them or use them regularly, please let Lorraine know and arrange to return them to the Church Office.

Collecting used Stamps to help fund BMS work

Please continue to save used postage stamps for the BMS stamps bureau. During the first quarter of 2020 £3500 was raised for BMS by the bureau. We look forward to being able to collect the stamps you are saving as soon as possible. Marion Rushton.
