YouTube Live!

On Sundays  we will be having an in-person service at church and also  live streaming messages via YouTube live at 10:30am  and 6 pm.  You will be able to view these without a YouTube account, and they will also be available on Smart TVs/Fire stick etc. for those without tablets/laptops. The livestream links are available on the website. If anyone is struggling to access the livestreams, please let us know.

DWELL is designed to be a 30minute service that will “go live” at 6pm on Sundays, but be available to catch up with at any point during the week.

 

Thanksgiving Service

We will be having a thanksgiving service here at Bethel on 27th November to remember the loved ones from our congregation that we have lost during this time of covid. It will give us a chance to remember them and celebrate their lives together.  There will also be refreshments available in the lounge afterwards.

 

Church is Open!!

The church is now fully open. Booking is no longer needed at all. We ask that you still respect social distancing  and follow all guidance given. Face masks are still required to be worn.

Bethel Kids is also taking place for all primary school children in years 1-6.  We are aiming to open other age groups for children & young people in the coming weeks. Following the service we will be serving tea & coffee in the lounge.

Bethel Tots  (Babies – Reception) Sunday morning, 10:30 – end of service . This will take place in the church lounge and will give the little ones a time of fun, play and singing together. Parents are encouraged to sit in with the younger ones.

Bethel Kids Sunday Morning during the service. Over the next few weeks we will be starting to rehearse our Christmas Nativity.  This will be practiced and recorded over the next few weeks and will be premiered on Sunday the 19th of December. This is an exciting time as we discover and experience the birth of our Saviour.

Bethel Teens  School Years 5 – 9 – Tuesday Night – 7pm – 8:15pm Letters have gone out for our ice skating trip in the run up to Christmas.  If you haven’t had one please get in touch with Tim. This week we continue our Christian Foundations series, along with some great team games.

Bethel Youth  School Years 10 – 13 – Friday Night – 7pm – 9pm. Meeting at the Whitchurch Centre,  we spend time together, catching up on life, and struggles or achievements. We are also in the middle of a great series covering the overarching storylines of the Bible, helping to give context and understanding.

If you have a church set of keys and no longer need them or use them regularly, please let Lorraine know and arrange to return them to the Church Office.

Collecting used Stamps to help fund BMS work

Please continue to save used postage stamps for the BMS stamps bureau. During the first quarter of 2020 £3500 was raised for BMS by the bureau. We look forward to being able to collect the stamps you are saving as soon as possible. Marion Rushton.

Promise of Christmas Concert

We are thrilled to announce that the ever popular Promise of Christmas will be taking place once again this year on Saturday 4th December at St David’s Hall, Cardiff at 3pm.  Cambrensis Choir and Orchestra, the St David’s Praise Choir, the Cambrats and the Promise of Christmas Youth Choir will all be taking part and hope to bring you a feast of Christmas music to enjoy. Booking is now open at St David’s Hall  via phone, in person or online.
