Children and Youth

Camp Freedom: Join us on our trip to Camp Freedom this year.  Each week over the summer on Sunday mornings we will be looking at the journey that the disciples went on with Jesus and some important questions they needed to think about. There will also be some activities to take part in at the picnic in the park events over the summer.

Bethel Teens  and  Bethel Youth  will be taking a break over the summer.  Thank you to everyone involved over the last year- it has been great exploring the Bible and life together over zoom. Keep praying, reading and exploring God over the summer, as we hope to be back together in the building in September.

Bethelcraft: Our Minecraft server is always on for you to join in and build and collaborate, give your church friends a message and go on adventures together.

Family News

We have wonderful news that Ruth an Alan Stone are now very proud grandparents – Elin and Callum had a little girl : Mali Rae on Friday 16th July.  Let’s pass on our congratulations to them all.

We have some more wonderful news that Jonathan Burton  will be getting married to his future bride Lizzie at Bethel in October.  Please pray for them as they make preparations for the big day!

If you know of anyone who doesn’t have internet access and would appreciate the Sunday sermons on a CD or USB stick, please let Lorraine know and she will arrange to have these sent to them.

Lorraine is mainly working from home during the summer but will be in the office every Friday morning.

News to Celebrate

If you, or someone you know,  are celebrating a very special birthday or anniversary then please do let us know so we can celebrate as a church family.

Collecting used Stamps to help fund BMS work

Please continue to save used postage stamps for the BMS stamps bureau. During the first quarter of 2020 £3500 was raised for BMS by the bureau. We look forward to being able to collect the stamps you are saving as soon as possible. Marion Rushton.

Can you help?

If you are able and willing to help during this period with phoning those who are isolated or delivering essential supplies to people’s doorsteps, then please do be in touch and let Jon know. Equally, if you know of people in any kind of difficulty due to self-isolation, please do pass that on.

Problem accessing online content?

If you have had a problem accessing the online blogs, sermons or newssheet, please let Lorraine in the office know as she can arrange to send these out in the post (including CD versions of the services)
