Family News

We have the wonderful news that Bethany Baker and Matt Thorne will be getting married here at Bethel on 3rd July.  Obviously there are restricted numbers for attending in person, but we are pleased to let you know that the service will be shown on YouTube.  Watch this space for the link nearer the time and please keep Matt, Bethany and their families in your prayers as they prepare for the big day!
Thank you everyone for their prayers for Janet Baker’s dad. He went home to be with his Saviour and Lord at 12.15 on Thursday morning, Janet’s two sisters were with him. We thank God for the eternal peace, love and joy he has now entered, and pray for a deep experience of God’s presence and comfort for the whole family as they continue to miss him. Let’s surround them all in prayer at this time.
Many of you will remember Joyce Glen, who was a member here at Bethel for many, many years and moved down to be nearer her family in Cornwall back in 2012. She passed away peacefully in her nursing home on the 17th June at the age of 97. Praying for the family at this difficult time.

Please continue to save used postage stamps for the BMS stamps bureau. During the first quarter of 2020 £3500 was raised for BMS by the bureau. We look forward to being able to collect the stamps you are saving as soon as possible. Marion Rushton.
