YouTube Live!
On Sundays we will be having an in-person service at church and also live streaming messages via YouTube live at 10:30am. You will be able to view these without a YouTube account, and they will also be available on Smart TVs/Fire stick etc. for those without tablets/laptops. The livestream links are available on the website. If anyone is struggling to access the livestreams, please let us know.

Easter Breakfast

Coronation Celebration Lunch
On the Kings Coronation weekend there will be a bring and share church lunch after the service on Sunday 7th May. More details to follow.

The { bless } discipleship group launched on 28th February and takes place on Tuesday evenings from 7pm in the Church lounge. If you've never heard about it, you can check out more information here:

Lent Book Club
This started on Monday 20th February and is taking place in the Church Lounge every Monday from 1-3 pm. We are looking at the book "He Chose the Nails" by Max Lucado. There will be no session on the 10th, but the group will be back for the last session on the 17th of April.

Prayer Times
There are a couple of opportunities each week to join with others for a time of prayer. Monday Evening at 7pm and / or Saturday morning at 10am both in the lounge. It would be great if you could join us. These will be continuing during the Easter break.
Coffee Morning
It's our monthly coffee morning on 12th April at 11 am in the Church Lounge. Come along for a time of fun and fellowship together
Crafty Chatters
Do you enjoy craft? A few of us will be getting together to craft, have a chat and catch up over a cup of tea or coffee. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month from 7.30pm - 9pm. If you are interested in coming along or want to know more, have a chat with Sue Rock or Ruth Evans. Please note that Crafty Chatters will be taking a break from now until the 21st April.
First Aid Course
We are planning to have a first aid course here at the church in June. If you are interested in attending this training (especially if you are involved in leading/helping with children or vulnerable adults) it would be great if you could attend. If you already hold a first aid certificate, it's possible that you could attend a refresher course and if you have don't have a certificate, you could also sign up. If you are interested and want to find out more, please contact Lorraine in the office.
Family News
Just to let you know the wonderful news that Pat Peakman, will be 99 on 14th April. She has just moved into the Nursing Home in Heol Don. Very many Happy returns from all of us here at Bethel.
Staff Leave
Jon will be taking a break for Easter from Tuesday 11th till Wednesday 19th April and Lorraine will be on leave from Tuesday 11th-Monday 17th April (days inclusive). Tim will return to work on Tuesday 11th April after a week's holiday. We pray for a time of refreshment and renewal for them and their families.
Concert
Juraj Uhrincat and Alison Mack are planning a music concert on 15th April 2023 7-9pm in the Church ( with rehearsals for performers from 5pm.) It is to raise funds for church families struggling with education costs, university, college etc. Children and adults will be performing on voice and instruments and refreshments will be available in the church lounge at the interval. It would be great if we could show our support for this event. Please see Juraj or Alison for tickets (£5 for adults/£3 for children). Many thanks.
Lost Property
There are quite a few items that have been left at some point in the church. They are laid out on a table in the lounge. If you see something there that is yours please take it. Many thanks.

Bethel Tots – Creche – for Babies to Reception age
Crèche is available in the Church Lounge during the morning service, Parents are advised to stay with their children. A live stream of the service is available.
Bethel Kids – Sunday – School years 1 – 4
Meeting in the Whitchurch Centre during the morning service. Come along for fun, Bible stories and games.
Bethel Teens – Sunday – School Years 5 – 9
Meeting in the Whitchurch Centre during the morning service. We have a great time, playing some games and looking in the Bible for lessons it can give us, for how we live today,

Future date for your young people's calendars
"Youth Night" - On May 12th. A night of worship and teaching, joining together with a load of other young people from all over Cardiff and the surrounding areas. We have had an amazing time the last few times we have been. The venue is TBD so keep an eye out for further information as it comes up. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
Calendar Appointment Number 2: "Advance Youth" on the 22nd of April put on by Message Wales. This is an opportunity for young people to be equipped and empowered to share your faith with those around you being bold and responding with "Here am I, Send me"- more information to follow.....
