Giving
As a Baptist church, Bethel is entirely self-funded by the giving of its members and those who attend regularly. If you’d like to support our ministry and mission in an ongoing way – we can do so either by placing donations in the offering box on the Bible shelves near the sound desk, or by bank transfers.
We do understand that a lot of us are affected by the current cost-of-living crisis, and we do not want anyone who is unable to give, or to give any more than they already are, to feel under any pressure to do so, or under any judgement if you are unable to.
You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” (2 Corinthians 9.7)
As a church, our ultimate hope is firmly planted in the Lord who is fully faithful to His promise to provide for His people – and it is our privilege and pleasure to be able to sow into His purposes as and when we are able to

Gift Aid
If you are a UK tax payer, the church can claim 25% Gift Aid from the government on top of your giving – it doesn’t affect the amount you give. Please speak to the treasurer if you would like to set this up.
