Prayer Times
There are a couple of opportunities each week to join with others for a time of prayer. Monday Evening at 7pm and/or Saturday morning at 10am both in the lounge. It would be great if you could join us.
Crafty Chatters
Crafty Chatters meets on the first Friday of every month at the new time of 6pm - 9pm in room 5 in the church hall (please note the venue change). All are welcome to come for as long or short a time as you can and if you are dropping children / youth to any of the clubs why not drop in for a tea or coffee and a chat whilst you wait.
Coffee Mornings and Service
The coffee mornings take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. We also have a monthly daytime service with traditional hymns and a short reflection at 11 am on the fourth Tuesday of every month. The midweek services will be taking a break for the forseeable future. The next coffee morning is this week on the 13th May.

Korean Prayer Mission-Help needed
We have a team of Korean's staying at Bethel to pray for our nation from July 7th-13th! There are a few ways in which you can help support these precious brothers and sister in their mission - (1) Lend some bedding for the week they are with us, (2) Sign up to provide a meal or two for the team, (3) Allow them to use your shower in the mornings, (4) Provide transport from Bethel to other churches on certain days. If you're available and willing to help please speak to Cathy Stroemer who is taking the lead co-ordinating the practical side of their trip.
Giving
As a Baptist church, Bethel is entirely self-funded by the giving of its members and those who attend regularly. If you’d like to support our ministry and mission in an ongoing way – we can do so either by placing donations in the offering box on the Bible shelves near the sound desk, pay by contactless giving on the phone there, or by bank transfers.
Please see the following information about the way the church is funded. Many thanks. There are also QR codes in various places in the Church Lounge and Church hall for you to scan to support the ministry and mission of the church if you so wish.

Easy Fundraising
Easy Fundraising is a simple way to support Bethel without it costing you anything. It’s a way of raising money for the church when you shop online, either using your computer or a smartphone. You can find more information at
www.easyfundraising.org.uk. You’ll need to sign up (it’s free) and then either install an app for your phone or there’s a plugin for your web browser. The website guides you through the simple steps to do this. It will also ask you to ‘Find a cause’, so if you look for Bethel Baptist we’re the only one on there at the moment. So far 6 folk have signed up and raised £216 to date, which is amazing, and we look forward to all who can signing up for this to help fund the mission of God in Bethel and the Community.

Pots and Lids Collection
Could you please save your empty GU dessert pots and the plastic lids from Pringles or store version Pringles? We're collecting them in youth and would be so grateful if you could bring them to the collection box on Sundays. Thank you
Cleaning Rota
We have a cleaning rota at the moment made up of a lovely team of volunteers. Some people have had to drop out recently for various reasons, so we're asking again if anyone might have some time in the month at all to help with the cleaning duties. You can do as much or as little as you like! If you would like to volunteer or find out more of what is involved, please let Lorraine in the office know. Many thanks.
