If anyone can help to organise the cards in the week commencing 8th December, please let Lorraine in the office know.
Christmas Cards on the Noticeboard
If you would prefer to write one card to Bethel and donate the money you would have spent on cards, please pin your card on the noticeboard in the lounge. There is also an envelope for donations for this year's chosen charity (tbc) Many thanks.
Giving
As a Baptist church, Bethel is entirely self-funded by the giving of its members and those who attend regularly. If you’d like to support our ministry and mission in an ongoing way – we can do so either by placing donations in the offering box on the Bible shelves near the sound desk, pay by contactless giving on the phone there, or by bank transfers.
Please see the following information about the way the church is funded. Many thanks. There are also QR codes in various places in the Church Lounge and Church hall for you to scan to support the ministry and mission of the church if you so wish.

Easy Fundraising
Easy Fundraising is a simple way to support Bethel without it costing you anything. It’s a way of raising money for the church when you shop online, either using your computer or a smartphone. You can find more information at
www.easyfundraising.org.uk. You’ll need to sign up (it’s free) and then either install an app for your phone or there’s a plugin for your web browser. The website guides you through the simple steps to do this. It will also ask you to ‘Find a cause’, so if you look for Bethel Baptist we’re the only one on there at the moment. .

City Hospice’s Light up a Life appeal and Remembrance Service
City Hospice provide specialist palliative care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across the city.
Their annual "Light up a Life" appeal runs from the 1st October to the 31st December, giving everyone in the community the chance to shine a light for families who need care and comfort this Christmas. While this season brings joy for many, it can also be a difficult time for those facing serious illness. By supporting the appeal, you’ll help provide expert care and support to patients and their loved ones across Cardiff during the festive season.
The Light up a Life Remembrance Service will take place on Wednesday 27th November at 7.30pm in Llandaff Cathedral, bringing together families, friends and the community to remember loved ones.
Alongside this, the "Star in the Sky" appeal offers people the chance to dedicate a star in memory of someone special, while helping to fund the vital care City Hospice provides.
